Held on the 13th of August at the Unicamp Convention Center, the class addressed the following topics: situating academic writing in times of internationalization; communities of production and consumption of valid or publishable knowledge (scales and translocal networks); conventions and practices of production and consumption of valid or publishable knowledge (methodological standards; modes of reception and circulation); and scientific article writing conventions and practices in valued journals (dictated by the global publishing industry and disciplinary dynamics).
The course continued with a practical approach on August 19, with the development of preparation exercises, summaries and plans for writing a scientific article based on the knowledge acquired in the first part of the course and its experience as a producer and consumer of articles in your specific area.
