Mentoring

On November 08, 2024, the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research (PRP) held the workshop Overview of Research Management in the Inova auditorium. The activity was attended by Postdoctoral Fellows in Research Management and some supervisors and coordinators of major thematic research centers, bringing together an audience committed to improving the management of academic research within their institutional scope.

The workshop aimed to discuss issues related to Metaresearch and Research Management in an environment that allows the strengthening of the Postdoctoral Program in Research Management (PPDG). The action is connected to the PRP effort

to offer institutional support to the Major Thematic Research Centers accredited by the PRP, promoting reflection on good research practices and seeking to increase the intellectual, economic and social impacts of the research carried out at the Institution.

During the event, alternatives and possible strategies for mentoring and the formation of a network of contacts for effective communication between scholarship holders, supervisors and coordinators and the Grant Office team were discussed.

The event provided an opportunity for learning and bringing participants closer together, encouraging a collaborative environment for the construction of innovative research management techniques.
