About the call
The Max Planck Institutes (MPI) and the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) announce the opening of the call for applications for the Strategic Collaboration Fund MPI-UNICAMP, aimed at strengthening the partnership between institutions through support for collaborative research projects.
Financing options
- Implementation Grants: to strengthen existing collaborations between researchers with clearly defined outcomes.
- Initiation Grants: to encourage new research partnerships and expand institutional engagement.
Resources and conditions
- Maximum funding per project: €20.000 (€10.000 from each partner)
- Total budget for the call: €200.000 (€100.000 from each partner)
- Support for: planning visits, workshops, exchanges, conferences, collaborative experiments and joint publications.
Schedule
- Registration opens: December 10, 2025
- Registration deadline: March 16, 2026
- Results: May 29, 2026

UNICAMP proposals must be submitted through the FAEPEX system. Proposals for the MPI must be sent by email to latam@gv.mpg.de
