
On November 25, the Pro-Rectory of Research (PRP) held another edition of the PRP Lecture Series, this time addressing the theme “Research Ethics”. The event brought together renowned experts to discuss the ethical challenges in scientific and academic development, promoting an enriching exchange of experiences among teachers, researchers, students and staff.
The program included the participation of teachers Ana Lucia Pastore Schritzmeyer (FFLCH/USP), Iscia Teresinha Lopes Cendes (FCM/UNICAMP) and Sandra Avila (IC/UNICAMP) and the professor Jacks Jorge Junior, president of the UNICAMP Research Integrity Committee.
The event provided a space for interdisciplinary dialogue and highlighted the need for ethical practices as fundamental pillars for the advancement of scientific knowledge, respecting values such as integrity, transparency and respect for the rights of research participants.
With this Lecture Series, the PRP reaffirms its commitment to promoting high-level debates and raising awareness in the academic community about fundamental issues for the development of science with responsibility and ethics.
