Partial report

All PIBIC/PIBITI scholarship recipients and volunteers participating in the PICV program must submit the Partial Activity Report, covering the period from September to February, on the date defined in... calendarincluding in cases where the link with the program is canceled before the end of its validity period.

The submission will be exclusively online, through the Student Area.

Upon submission, the Vice-Rectorate for Research will send a reminder email to students and advisors.

Important: Failure to submit the Partial Activity Report within the program's rules and deadlines, as well as its rejection, may result in the complete cancellation of the research grant and the return of installments, in the case of scholarship recipients.

Guidelines

The Partial Report must contain the following topics:

Activities carried out:

  • Describe the activities carried out from the beginning of the research until the delivery of the partial report;
  • Report successes, failures and difficulties encountered, in addition to the solutions adopted;
  • Justify the changes (if any) in relation to the original project;
  • Submission to the ethics committee(s): status and impact on the timeline;
  • Partial results.

Timeline:

  • Present the schedule of research activities carried out to date and what is planned for the next period;
  • Suggestion: organize the schedule in a table, indicating activities completed, in progress and not yet completed.

Academic achievement:

  • Briefly describe your academic performance during the research period;
  • Students from other higher education institutions should attach their Academic Transcript at the end of the report.

Bibliography:

  • Include only works cited in the report.

file formatting:

  • Report format: Paragraph spacing should be single, and the font type is of your choice. The report analysis by the advisory team is online, and for this reason, the chosen formatting should facilitate viewing and reading.
  • File format: PDF
  • Size: up to 5 pages and 5MB. If it is a final version, due to cancellation of the research, do not exceed the size of the final report (20 pages).

After receiving the report and opinions from the responsible advisor, it will be submitted to the Advisory Committee for analysis. The evaluation report will then be sent to the advisor for their information or appropriate action, if necessary.
