Workshop Proposal Submission
April 15th to 30th
New submission mode
The Winter Science & Art Program (CAFin) is held annually, during the month of July, and aims to awaken young talents to scientific research and artistic activities and to involve them, from an early age, in practical activities (workshops) related to current challenges of science and art within the laboratory research environment, under the supervision of Unicamp professors/researchers.
Active professors with an employment relationship with Unicamp, in addition to PQ career researchers and Professors/Researchers Volunteer Collaborators (only retired Unicamp professors) may act as advisors.
Submission of the workshop proposal for Elementary School students (8th or 9th year) must be forwarded to the Dean of Research, by filling out the electronic form FAEPEX, via Special Notices.
Fields to be filled in at the time of submission:
- Complementarity – only fill in the “Other” field with the term “Not applicable”;
- Leak – inform the area and 3 keywords;

Types of submission
The interested teacher or researcher may submit only one workshop (group activity) with one of the following profiles:
- Reception of a group of 90 students in a single day and period. Time: 8:45 am to 11:45 am (morning) ou from 13:15 pm to 16:15 pm (afternoon).
- Reception of two groups of 45 students, with group A in the morning and group B in the afternoon, on a single day – from 8:45 am to 11:45 am (morning) e from 13:15 pm to 16:15 pm (afternoon). Exactly the same activities must be offered in the morning and afternoon, as the groups are different.
In either format, the involvement of undergraduate and graduate students as monitors is suggested.
We emphasize the preference for workshops with a practical and dynamic profile, due to the young public (8th or 9th grade of elementary school) included in the program.
The Program Organizing Committee, appointed by the Dean of Research, will select the proposals that will be considered in all areas of knowledge, considering the profile of the workshops and the merits of the proposals.
