Event, organized by Elsevier and held on April 9, 2025, which addressed the following topics: AI trends in Latin America, are we prepared for the AI ​​generation?, challenges and opportunities for AI in Latin America, and AI in academia.

5th State Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation – 2024

A 5th CNCTI, held on March 7 and 8, 2024, is an important forum for dialogue among different stakeholders in society to reflect on the role of science, technology, and innovation in the country and its direction in the coming years. Collaborative projects through staff exchange with MSCA Staff Exchanges

Webinar with the University of Campinas (Unicamp), held on April 02, 04. The Marie Sklodowska Curie Staff Exchanges (MSCA SE) call is part of the European research and innovation program Horizon Europe (HE). MSCA SE selects collaborative research and innovation projects of up to four years, in all areas of knowledge, to be carried out through staff exchanges between European institutions and institutions worldwide. The event presented the operation of the call (Charlotte Grawitz) and the co-funding by FAPESP (Virginia Subiñas), and also featured testimonials from Unicamp researchers participating in MSCA SE projects (Bruno Fischer and Regina Moraes).

Frontier research in Europe with the European Research Council (ERC)

Webinar Organized by EURAXESS Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), on December 02, 2024, in Portuguese, the event will feature a Brazilian researcher holding an ERC grant and two reviewers (ERC panel members) who will share their tips and recommendations for a successful ERC proposal. Following the presentations, the speakers will participate in a Q&A session with the audience.

COST Actions: Participate in research networks with European partners

Event Organized by EURAXESS Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), EURAXESS North America, and the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), a funding organization for research and innovation networks, on November 19, 11.
