Through Resolution CEPE-A-001/2024, on 06/02/2024, the Support Program for the Management of Large Thematic Research Centers was created, under the coordination of the Dean of Research, which aims to complement the operating infrastructure of the installed projects.
The Program is made up of three support subprograms:
- Postdoctoral Scholarship Subprogram in Research Management (PPDG) aims to meet the needs of large thematic centers, with three modalities: Education Management and Knowledge Diffusion, Technology Transfer and Innovation Management and Executive Project Management.
- Higher Level Technical Support Subprogram (ProATS) aims to meet the needs of higher education professionals to work and operate equipment installed in large research centers.
- Infrastructure Support Subprogram (InfraPeq) aims to finance the recovery or improvement of existing facilities, as well as adaptations to spaces to meet new demands at two research centers.
A Resolution CCP-002/2024, of 07/08/2024, provides for the criteria and requirements for framing purposes of Large Research Projects (Thematic Research Centers and Large Multi-User Equipment Centers) in the Support Program for Large Thematic Research Centers, whose implementation will be the responsibility of a Multidisciplinary Committee, composed of professors and/or researchers (PQ career), appointed by the Dean of Research.
