About FAEPEX
The Fund for Support of Teaching, Research and Extension – FAEPEX was created in 2003 (Resolution CONSU-A-024/2003) resulting from the merger of the former Teaching and Research Support Fund – FAEP (1990) and the Extension Support Fund – FAE (2001), its purpose is to provide complementary resources to encourage and support teaching, research and extension projects and activities that contribute to enriching the academic life of UNICAMP, and is structured in five major areas: Technological, Biomedical, Exact Sciences, Humanities and Interdisciplinary.
The Fund is not intended as an alternative funding agency to those currently existing and should be understood as a supplementary mechanism, aimed exclusively at complementing the aid granted by agencies and also financing activities not covered by funding institutions that may induce a positive difference in the teaching, research and extension activities of Unicamp.
