The CIP is the executive body of the Institutional Policy for Good Practices and Integrity in Research at Unicamp, which aims to promote a culture of ethical integrity in research through educational, dissemination and guidance actions accessible to all researchers, in compliance with international principles for welcoming and investigating reports of misconduct and scientific malpractice.
It is also incumbent upon the CIP to welcome, evaluate and refer suspected cases of misconduct or malpractice in scientific research carried out by teaching and non-teaching staff, students or other categories involved in carrying out scientific research at Unicamp.
Composition of the CIP
The Research Integrity Committee (CIP), linked to the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research, is composed of the following members (term 2024-2027), appointed by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research and approved by the Central Research Committee (Resolution CCP-005/2024):
